Welcome to Natural Beauty.. This page is going to consist of some Beauty recipes I use alot.. Not the usual wax stuff you buy in the store, but all natural recipes.. Most are easy to put together, but because of the all natural ingredients, they may have to be put in the refrigerator. Most of these recipes I found in a book, but some where just concoctions of mine.. *S* On to the recipes..



Milk Bath
1 cup powdered milk
1/2 cup epsom salts
1 tablespoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1 teaspoon Sweet Almond oil
A few drops of your favorite
essential oil or blend. (optional)

Put all the ingredients in a jar, seal the jar well with a lid and shake vigorously. Let sit for a day or two.
To use: You will only need 2-3 tablespoons per bath. Add last, after tub is full of water.



Bath Salts
1 cup epsom salts
1/4 cup concentrated sea salts
1 teaspoon sweet almond oil
or apricot kernal oil
A few drops of essential oil or blend

Put all the ingredients in a jar, seal the jar well with a lid and shake vigorously. Let sit for a day or two.
To use: You will only need 2-3 tablespoons per bath. Add last, after tub is full of water.



Bath Vinegar
1 cup white vinegar
1 cup distilled water
2 cups fresh flowers or herbs
i.e.,lavender, roses, rosemary,chamomile mint leaves, lemongrass.

Mix vinegar and water; then add flowers and place the mixture in a glass bottle with a screw top. Shake bottle and store in a cool dark place for one month (shaking every week). After one month shake one last time; strain out the flowers. Put the bath vinegar into a decorative glass jar.



Moisturizing Cream

1/4 cup cocoa butter
1/4 cup sweet almond oil
1/4 cup olive oil
5 to 6 drops essential oil
Combine all ingredients in a double boiler and warm them until the cocoa butter is completely melted. Remove from the heat and stir until the mixture is cool and stars to gel; then allow it to rest as it finishes setting up. When it's cool, the mixture should be creamy. If it separates, then use a hand mixer n low speed and beat until it's smooth. Store in a decorative container.
